Overview
Jobplans ("we", "us", "our") provides construction document measurement and annotation tools. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we handle it.
Information We Collect
- Account data — name, email, and hashed password when you sign up.
- Organization data — organization name, members, and role assignments.
- Document data — PDF files, measurements, annotations, and metadata you upload.
- Usage data — anonymous analytics (page views, feature usage) via Google Analytics.
- Billing data — payment details are processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.
How We Use It
- Provide and improve the Jobplans service.
- Authenticate you and sync your documents across devices.
- Process subscription payments.
- Send service-related emails (receipts, password resets, security notices).
- Debug issues and measure aggregate product usage.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share data only with infrastructure providers required to run the service: Cloudflare (hosting, storage), Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), and Google Analytics (anonymous usage).
Data Retention
Documents and account data are retained for as long as your account is active. Deleting your account removes all associated data within 30 days, except where law requires longer retention (tax records).
Your Rights
You may request access, export, correction, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing privacy@jobplans.ai. EU/UK residents have additional rights under GDPR including the right to object to processing and the right to data portability.
Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and analytics cookies for aggregate usage measurement. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings.
Security
Documents are encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is scoped by organization membership and share link permissions. We follow industry-standard practices but cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect.
