Our mission
Construction takeoffs have been stuck in the 1990s. Bloated desktop apps. Per-seat license fees that punish small teams. Workflows where you measure in one tool, estimate in another, and transcribe numbers in between. We built Jobplans because estimators deserve better — and because we believe the team with the best tools wins more bids.
What we do
Jobplans is a browser-based construction takeoff and measurement platform. You open a PDF, set scale, measure, and get live quantities — no install, no license keys, no waiting for IT. Measurements flow into customizable tables with formulas, waste factors, and materials pricing. Templates cover concrete, roofing, and more out of the box. Collaboration is real-time. Export to Excel preserves everything.
Who we serve
- General contractors running in-house estimating
- Subcontractors across concrete, roofing, electrical, mechanical
- Independent estimators working across multiple clients
- Design-build teams that need measurement in the same tool as collaboration
Team
Jack Harrison — Founder
Nathan founded Jobplans to fix the tools he kept watching contractors fight with. He works directly with GCs, subcontractors, and estimators every week to make sure the product reflects how takeoffs actually happen — in the office, in the truck, and on the job site.
